Dear trader,

I am glad to seeing you here! I am Giuseppe Basile, A.K.A., the FibStalker and I welcome you to Fibonacci Stalking!

I nurture a passion for everything that has to do with trading, including: researching price dynamics and modern program trading, high frequency trading, risk and money management, trading methodologies and psychology.  I am a Certified Martkets Technician, have a computer science engineering background and hold a Masters in Finance. Although I have an interest in research, I am very practical too and, in fact, I use the results of my passion, research and knowledge, collected in over 12 years of activity in the markets, in my own market analysis and mentoring. I am an expert in Money Management and also contributed to the research with my Master Thesis. You can find an excerpt of that work in the eBooks and Papers section of this blog.

I love helping and mentoring people, not only in the area of trading but also in other areas, including but not limited to job search soft and soft skills. I am very active in volunteering for government-funded employment agency in Canada, where I help motivating new immigrants in recovering from slumps and directing their job search.

This blog specializes in education, analysis and trading of the Forex majors (EUR/USD, GBP/USD, AUD/USD, USD/CAD), the main Japanese yen pairs (USD/JPY, EUR/JPY and GBP/JPY), the S&P500 emini, Gold emini, the Dollar Index, plus some high volume stocks traded on NYSE and NASDAQ. It contains hundreds of videos featuring analysis and educational material . The blog is published by Giuseppe Basile, CMT, market analyst & active researcher.

The methods and related content and setups for the aforementioned markets in this blog is based on an Analysis Method that has evolved through revising the work of several other traders, including Toni Hansen, Ivica Juracic, Joe DiNapoli, Jim Olson, Van Tharp, D.R. Barton, David Halsey, Eugenio Sartorelli, only to name a few and then adding years of original research on top of those people’s efforts. The method I use is effective on all markets and asset classes which have a  high traded volume.

The original research work includes, but is not limited to the following:

  • new price patterns (including “busted setups”, W and M formations, etc.)
  • new type of entries (like, for instance, the 4-hour confirmation breakout) to help swing traders and those who do not have a lot of time to discipline timing, risk management and plan execution while participating to larger moves
  • money management techniques and frameworks
  • risk management rules and price actions analysis
  • high frequency trading and effects on markets and program trading
  • explanation of classical Technical Analysis setups spotting and making observations based on Algorithmic Trading footprints (showing that spotting such footprints is way more effective than using classical TA)
  • timing and analysis techniques created by the author thanks to studies and practical experience in the 7 years from 2007 to 2013, including 4 years of full time trading (and collecting over 7,000 hours of screen time, on top of more than 10,000 hours in the previous years), and more…

The blog has a few sections providing a lot of information on the method and live examples of market analysis with complete trading plans. Over 400 videos can be  found in the blog and  FOREX, FUTURES and STOCKS  & ETFs pages showing how I perform market analysis and create simple, clear, easy to act upon trading plans.

The blog also features an EBOOKS & PAPERS section where I publish my eBook and research papers. The work is available for free upon registration. I am a certified CTA and aligned with SIAT/IFTA (International Federation of Technical Analysts) and so far I have published 6 research papers on several topics, including Money Management, Trading Methods,  High Frequency Trading. You can find some of my works in the related blog area. I have also published an important e-book titled: “Key Concepts to Correct Trading Behavior” (1st edition), which I warmly recommend you download, read and study carefully. This e-book will challenge some of your ingrained beliefs and I believe deeply that understanding and internalizing the key concepts discussed in the book will, by itself, put you on a brand new path of trading success. It too can be downloaded for free.

Attached to this Blog there is also the “FibStalker free Newsletter“, which is shipped weekly (typically on Sundays) and daily (on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) with setups on the Euro FX and S&P500 e-mini futures and the other markets, in case of significant changes.

Notice that:  I will only post timely and detailed updates of trading plans in my free newsletter. You can register for free hereunder.

There are two more sections in the blog: What is “Fibonacci Stalking”?  is a section that explains the Fibonacci Stalking, or FibStalking, the proprietary timing technique which gives the Blog its name and the Trading Systems section, listing the various systems I use, I am currently analyzing or studying, or that I have studied in the past. These two sections go through continuous changes so I ask you to come back often and to be a bit patient. Thank you.

Feel free to watch this brief video (a bit outdated, in honesty) to learn what you will find in the Blog and how to navigate the content:
